NEW - REVISED AGENDA FOR WOUND CARE 101!
New Advanced topics - Wound Care 201 now available

We're listening, and we're changing.
If you are looking for smaller classes with greater one on one interaction with the instructor at less expensive rates than the larger conferences yet comparable contact hours Wound Care 101 and Wound Care 201 are just the classes for you!

Synergicare's Wound Care 101 Conference - Fundamentals of Wound Care - features 8.0 contact hours in one day. This class teaches wound care from a real-world perspective and focuses exclusively on wound prevention and healing. Wound Care 101 includes an overview of wound healing, material about pressure ulcer prevention and management, an intensive look at lower extremity ulcers, and a roundup of advanced wound care therapies.

We have also introduced our new advanced Wound Care 201 Conference to excellent reviews - This intensive 7.5 contact hour class is a day-long session deals with advances in wound care management, and includes material on wound assessment and healing, diabetic wounds and treatment options, examinations of different therapeutic approaches, pain screening and management, and wound infection and interventions – If you deal with patients with wound care issues you need this information!

Combined, this 15.5 contact hour combo provides a very strong foundation toward ensuring your patient’s health, safety, and quality of life.
We have had very positive responses to our classes held in all our Midwest locations and we are working to provide these conferences in other cities.

Synergicare’s conferences are designed and taught by nurses working in the field. We keep our classes small enough that our attendees are able to interact in a one on one basis with the instructor. We believe the increased interaction between the attendee and instructor and the nurse to nurse method of teaching, allows for a kindred approach to the knowledge and a more personal learning experience than the larger conferences. Please bring your personal questions or challenging treatment questions and we will answer them or provide a contact where you may find your answers! Our goal is to provide you with the not only the most current knowledge but state of the art treatments to aid in your ability to help your patients heal as quickly and inexpensively as possible.
Synergicare’s Wound Care Conferences are extremely valuable to caregivers in long term care facilities, hospice, home health, acute care and outpatient settings. You and your colleagues are provided a comprehensive look at wound care and advances in healing modalities, enhancing clinical practice and quality of life. Stressing both healing and prevention, your mobility-limited, geriatric, diabetic and other at-risk patients will benefit from the knowledge you will gain from this course.

Approval via the ANCC
is accepted in most states.

We have verified with state nursing boards to ensure that our courses will comply with their standards for licensing, etc. If you do not see your state listed, it either does not require continuing education, we have not spoken with someone from that state, or we simply have not updated the web site for that state yet. Please call us if you have doubts and we will contact your state for you. According to the accreditation agency, the only states where we have determined that the material is not accepted are California and Florida, as they require specific accreditation by their state agencies in order to accept our classes for contact hours.
Note:
*Iowa has an exceptional qualification. Iowa will accept contact hours from ANCC-accredited courses which are taught outside the state of Iowa, but requires any courses taught inside the state to be accredited by their board. As we do not teach classes in Iowa, our contact hours are viable for Iowa residents.
